Craig:

Finally, a post about some interesting signs (my sister should be thrilled).

New Zealand is a rugby nation.  They are very excited for the World Cup.

Most homes in New Zealand don't have central heating or cooling.  They must rely on electric heaters or fireplaces.  This is the fire safety "metre from the heater" campaign.  That heater looks mean.

I can't really explain this one.

So many Kiwis have their own gardens.  Fertilizer is a must.

Glacier safety is a top priority.

In New Zealand, you go to the grocery store and shop with a trundler, not a shopping cart.  So naturally there is a trundler park.

You never know when a penguin is going to jump out in front of you.

I can't decide which sign I would have wanted to steal in high school. Probably the paraplegic one, but the penguin is 1B.

Nice signs. I know what you were thinking when you saw them.
